Why would you join in our Old City Tour instead of just walking around on your own?
Maybe we should first point out that the average age of the monuments that you are going to visit is over 1000 year in the Old City. Does it start to attract your attention? Imagine you are in the Hagia Sophia museum on your own and reading your guide book, ''The marbel jar was brought from Pergamon during the reign of Sultan Murat III. Originally from the Hellenistic period, it was carved from a single block of marbel.'' Which jar? Where is it? Do not laugh, it is serious, you are in a building over 2500 square meters. Or you are in the Blue Mosque and still reading: ''The most important element in the interior of the mosque is the mihrad''. Well! Is there sign pointing to the mihrad?
These are only few examples to clarify a professional guide would be how important while you are visiting the Old City. But you should also consider about lo huge cue in front of the Santa Sophia and Topkapi Palace Museum ticket booth. This is surely annoying to spend hours in the cue if you are visiting Istanbul for a limited time. But do't worry! You will override the cue once you enjoy our tour. We are using professional pass for the museums to not stick in the cue.
