Spina
takes its name from the space, that is in the middle
part of the Hippodrome, which had been built by
Septimus Severus and had been extended by
Constantine the Great. In the older times
around this place, which is called Spina, the
chariots raced. And today the Obelisk of Theodosius
Constantine's Column and the Serpent's Column are
found on this space. This authentic hotel was formed
by the restoration of an old Turkish house belonging
to the 19th century. In the Hotel Spina the
contemporary needs are answered by the cultural
values in a setting which is the synthesis of the
Ottoman and Byzantien architecture. We offer you the
traditional Turkish hospitality and a Liric
atmosphere with our 24 comfortable rooms.
