Day 1 - Istanbul
Deapart from Istanbul by
overnight bus for Cappadocia.
Day 2 -
Cappadocia Tour
You will be picked up from bus station and transfer to hotel and start to visit;
DEVRENT
VALLEY has various types of fairy
chimneys. Among these are those with caps, cones, mushroom like
forms pillar and pointed rocks. With the action of smaller,
secondary volcanoes and the action of rivers, wind and flood waters,
this layer of tuff has slowly but steadily been eroded to produce
the rock formations know as "fairy chimmeys". We will take a walk
through this amazing valley.
ZELVE OPEN AIR MUSEUM
has the most important churches in the
valley. Balikli, Uzumlu, and Geyikli, blong to the Pre Iconoclastic
period. The valley was inhabited until 1952. Apart from monasteries
and churches, houses, a mill, a mosque, and several dovecotes are
found in the valley.
PASABAGLARI (MONKS VALLEY) Many fairy
chimneys with multiple stems and caps can be found here, this style
being unique to this area. A chapel dedicated to St. Simeon and a
hermit's shelter is built into one such fairy chimney with three
heads.
AVANOS is known for the pottery, a craft
dating back to the Hittite period. The red clay which is worked by
local craftsmen comes from the residue in the Kizilirmak river. The
Kizilirmak, which divides Avanos into two, is Anatolia's longest
river.
GOREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM is the place where
this religious education was started. You will visit the churhcesö
chapels and monasteries carved into the fairy chimmeys from the 10th
to the 13th centuries with fresgos painted on the walls. In the 4th
century three important men created a now unity here they are the
Great St. Basil, Bishop of Kayseri his brother St Gregory of Nyssa
and St. George of Nazianus.
PIGEON VALLEY here you will see where the
Pigeons and hear of how they were used to help the people. Some
examples where to send messages and to fertiziize the grapes. Also
you will see a wonderful panoromic view.
UCHISAR CASTLE is the highest point in
the region. The castle and its surrounds used to be the most
populated area this settlement, which resembles Ortahisar in style.
The top of the citadel provides a magnificent panorama of the
surrounding area.

Day 3
Cappadocia Tour - Antalya
You will be picked up from your hotel around 09:00
and start to visit;
KIZILCUKUR: is an isolated valley behind Urgup. It has
beautiful rock formation with some great hidden rock-carved churches.
The most interesting part of this area is the countless tracks
connecting the small villages and towns through vineyards and
gardens like a spider net. It is always possible to see villagers
working in the area and offering grapes, apples or apricots to you.
CAVUSIN: One of the oldest settlements in the area, Cavusin
is situated 2km from Goreme, on the Göreme-Avanos road. The Church
of St.John the Baptist offers a panoramic view of the village. This
church and its paintigs date back to the 5th century, making the
oldest church in the region. It had a large courtyard which is
unusual for Cappadocia, this has been eroded away however.
HOSPITAL MONASTRY: One of the oldest monastries in Cappadocia.
KAYMAKLI: Kaymakli and Derinkuyu underground cities are the
two largest and deepest of the 40 others in Cappadocia. They both
have eight floors, although not all are open to the public.
PIGEON HOUSE: Visit the pigeon houses and rock formations.

Day 4 -
Antalya
Morning arrive in Antalya.
Met on arrival and transfer to hotel. Free Day. Dinner & Overnight
in hotel.
Day 5 - Antalya
Breakfast. Free Day. Dinner & Overnight in hotel.
Day 6 - Antalya -
Olimpos (Olympos)
Breakfast & Check out from the hotel. Bus
transportation to Olimpos. Arrive in Olimpos. Check in to Tree
Houses. Free Day. Dinner & Overnight.
Day 7 - Blue Cruise -
Olympos-Demre-Myra
Pick-ups from Olympos between
10:00-10:30. Bus transfer to the archaeological site of Myra, and to
Demre for the St-Nicholas Church when requested, shopping, banking
and lunch. Boat departure from the harbour of Demre between 1 and 2
p.m.Pirates Cave. Sunken City of Kekova (this Lycian-Roman
archaeological site is protected, so only looking!). Simena, a
traditional Turkish fishing village with no car access and Byzantine/Ottoman
castle. In Gökkaya Bay water sports are available. Dinner, relax in
this pirates haven or party the night away at the Smugglers Inn
Day 8 - Blue Cruise -
Simena-Sunken
City
Breakfast . Departure to Kas where we
first have a swim in a nice and quiet bay in front of the little
town & and then stop in the harbour for lunch & visit of this
charming fishing village. Of ancient Antiphellos, as Kas was once
known, only Lycian rock tombs & sarcophagi and the Roman theatre are
left. But the charm of the town remains! Near Kalkan we stop in
Aquarium or Firnaz Bay (dinner & 2nd night).
Day 9 - Blue Cruise -
Kekova-Kas-Kalkan
Around sunrise we depart for Butterfly
Valley where we stop (sea conditions permitting! ) for breakfast,
swimming and to visit this natural reserve, hosting 136 kinds of
different butterflies and moths. OLUDENIZ (The Blue Lagoon) is our
next stop, again sea conditions permitting! Option for paragliding
available. In a bay near OLUDENIZ we have lunch. Last stop of the
day is St-Nicholas Island. Visit the Byzantine ruins, swim, dinner &
3rd night.
Day 10 - Blue Cruise -
Oludeniz - Fethiye
Breakfast. Departure for Samanlik Bay (swim
& lunch). Finally we sail to Fethiye Harbour where we arrive between
3 and 4 p.m. Transfer to hotel. Free time and overnight in
hotel.
Day
11 - Fethiye - Selcuk / Kusadasi
Breakfast & Check out from
the hotel. Bus transportation from Fethiye to Selcuk / Kusadasi.
Arrival to Selcuk / Kusadasi. Met on arrival and transfer to hotel.Free
Time. Overnight in hotel.
Day 12 - Ephesus & House of Virgin Mary Tour
After breakfast you will be picked up from hotel.
Full day tour of Ephesus & The House of Virgin Mary starts around
09:00.
First you will visit The
Temple of Artemis,
which once was one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Then
you will visit the world famous ancient Greco-Roman
City of Ephesus,
the most well preserved example in the world. After visiting this
impressive site, you will have a lunch break. After lunch you will
visit
The House of Virgin
Mary,
where it is believed she spent her last days. This is a holy place
for both Christians and Muslims. After the tour, you will be
transferred back to hotel
and overnight.
Day 13
- Pamukkale & Hierrapolis Tour
You will be picked up from hotel after the breakfast.
Then driven to
Pamukkale
which is the center of natural thermal spring waters with healing
properties. Due to the chemical properties in the water, pure white
colored travertines and stepped water terraces have been created on
the mountain slope. It is for its resemblance to cotton piles that
it is called "Cotton Castle" in Turkish. Visit the travertines and
the
Ancient City of Hierapolis
which has the biggest Nekropol with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia.
The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site. There
shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient
roman ruins which lie beneath. Transfer back to hotel and overnight.
Day 14 - Priene - Miletos &
Didyma Tour
You will be picked up from your hotel after
breakfast to depart for Priene. This was once a harbour
city but is now located 16 km inland from the sea on the hills of
the Mykale Mountain. It has many examples of Hellenic art and
architecture. Alexander The Great lived in this city for a time. The
theater in Priene is one of the most beautiful ones from The
Hellenic World. The Athena Polias Temple was reconstructed by
Alexander The Great as a gift to the city. After Priene, you will
depart for Miletus. The ancient city of Miletus which once
was one of the biggest cities in Anatolia, was located on the trade
routes and it was for this reason that it became very prosperous and
had many colonies. Miletus is famous for its genius philosophers and
architects, such as Thales, Anaksimandros, Anaksimenes, Hippodamos
and Isidoros. Miletus is also famous for the Faustina Baths. Lunch
break after Miletus and then visit to Didyma. Didyma was
not a city but a temple dedicated to Apollon. It was once one of the
biggest temples in the Hellenic World. It was connected to Miletus
by a holy road of 19 km. Transfer back to hotel and overnight.
Day 15 -
Pergamon Tour - Canakkale
You
will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast to depart for
Pergamon.
You will visit the
Acropolis
which was once the cultural center of the Hellenistic Period. It had
a very famous library, as big as the one in Alexandria. It also had
a famous school of architecture, perfect government buildings and
monuments, including the world famous Zeus Altar. It also played an
important role during the beginning of Christianity in the Roman
Period, and one of the Seven Churches of the Revelations is located
here. After the Acropolis you will visit the
Ascelepion,
which was dedicated to the God of Good Health, "Asklepios". This was
an important medical center where people received medical treatments
such as massages, mud baths, drinking of the sacred waters and the
use of herbs and ointments. Diagnosis was often by dream analysis.
After visiting Ascelepion bus transporation to Canakkale. Arrival to
Cannakkale. Check in to hotel and Overnight.
Day 16 - Gallipoli & Troy Tour - Istanbul
Breakfast.
Today we step back in time as we visit Troy, famous for the
legendary Trojan Horse from the times of beautiful Helen, Queen of
Sparta and Paris, the Trojan Prince.Then we tour to
One of the most emotionally and touching places in Turkey, we
visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone Pine and
Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, the Nek, Johnston's Jolly and the
Kaba Tepe Gallipoli Museum. End of the Gallipoli tour bus
transpotation to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul. Tour ends...
